MangaTrans is an AI OCR and translation tool for user-provided manga, comic, and illustration images. We do not host manga catalogs, provide manga search, or distribute manga downloads.

Information We Collect

We may collect account information, billing records, credits activity, uploaded image references, AI task metadata, usage analytics, support messages, and technical logs needed to operate and secure the service.

Uploaded Images and AI Processing

When you upload an image for translation, the file is sent to MangaTrans storage and may be sent to our AI model provider for OCR and translation processing. Translation tasks can include the uploaded image, detected text, translated text, coordinates, target language, task status, and credit usage.

You should upload only images you own, created, licensed, or otherwise have the right to process. Do not upload illegal, harmful, private, or unauthorized material.

How We Use Information

We use information to provide the translator, authenticate users, process payments, manage credits, prevent abuse, troubleshoot tasks, improve product quality, and satisfy legal or compliance obligations.

Payments

Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers such as Stripe, PayPal, or Creem. MangaTrans does not store full payment card numbers.

Retention

We retain account, task, and billing data for as long as needed to operate the service, resolve disputes, support refunds, and comply with applicable obligations. Users may contact support to request deletion where applicable.
